Flooring and Tile Underlayment
Blue Shield 3030/3050 is used as an underlayment for wood and tile flooring. This asphaltic laminated paper provides barrier to moisture and restricts the rate that moisture vapors interact with flooring. These properties allow for the best possible protection against warping, buckling, and cracking of a floor surface.

  • Messy material to work with, asphalt can transfer to other surfaces.
  • Offers satisfactory mositure vapor barrier rated at 5 perms (unit of permeablity).
